History

 The history of Islam concerns the political, social, economic and cultural developments of Islamic civilization. Most historians accept that Islam originated in Mecca and Medina at the start of the 7th century CE. and by the 8th century, the Umayyad Caliphate extended from lberia  in the west to the Indus River in the east.

  • Day of Resurrection Predestination


Practices
The religious practices of Muslims are enumerated in the Five Pillars of Islam:
  •  the declaration of faith (shahadah)
  •  daily prayers (salat)
  •  fasting during the month of Ramadan (sawm)
  •  almsgiving (zakat)
  •  the pilgrimage to Mecca (hajj) at least once in a lifetime.
